Fostering is an unknown to most. What I mean by that is unless you know someone with foster kids, you are never able to see what it looks like. I’d like to try to do something about that.
Unfortunately, foster parents aren’t allowed to post pictures of foster kids’ faces online. This policy is in place for many good reasons. I’ve gotten clearance to post pictures of our foster kids, as long as I don’t show their faces. Each week I plan to post one picture on this blog on the weekend, that will help give a “face” to fostering.
My wife, Stephanie, caught this picture yesterday, as our daughter and our two foster kids were enjoying a pile of fall leaves together. As always, our daughter thought it best to try to taste the leaves as well.
